La Mégisserie is a House of Arts that offers multidisciplinary artistic programming: theatre, dance, music, song, humour, fairy tale, circus, cinema, photography.
A strong orientation is put around the voice. Photographic exhibitions are also scheduled.
With the BIP – Poetic Intervention Brigades – La Mégisserie is setting up a work of proximity: small forms of show “outside the walls” in homes, neighborhoods, schools, factories … It also offers workshops, Meetings and artistic projects with the inhabitants.
La Mégisserie is subsidized by the Community of Communes Vienne-Glane, the City of Saint-Junien, the General Council of Haute-Vienne, the Regional Council of Limousin, the Ministry of Culture and Communication – DRAC of Limousin.
