Saint Eustache

Located in the historic district of Les Halles, Saint-Eustache is one of the most visited churches in Paris. It is particularly distinguished by its dimensions, the great richness of the works of art it houses, and its great organ. Faithful to its musical tradition, the Church welcomes all year-round Philharmonic formations, choirs and prestigious festivals.

Parishioners and visitors of all nationalities flock to Saint Eustache each year in the thousands. Its reputation is as much due to the splendour of his architecture as to its musical tradition.

Many memories are attached to it over the centuries: Lully married there in 1662, on the eve of his death, Rameau bade farewell to the organ; Mozart Attended his mother’s funeral; 950 performers interpreted the first hearing of the Te Deum of Berlioz In 1855. Today, the mass of St. Cecilia attracts a faithful audience every autumn.
