The Linden House

A rural gîte set in the beautiful region of Creuse in central France – so called due to its lush landscape and clear blue skies. Surrounded by fields and woodland this is the perfect place to relax and explore the magnificent French countryside. We are situated near the historical towns of Moutier-d’Ahun with its former Benedictine abbey and medieval bridge straddling the river Creuse and Aubusson, world-renowned for its tapestry weaving since the 6th century. Further afield is the city of Limoges, famous for its enamel and porcelain. This is the ideal location for outdoor activities, including walking, cycling and fishing. There are many attractions that can be experienced as a family; children and parents alike will adore the giant maze and wolf park in Guéret and the lake at Vassivière. The Linden House offers accommodation for 2-7 guests, with 2 large double bedrooms and one twin, with provision for extra beds or cots if required. The kitchen is equipped with all mod cons including a washing machine. We have Sky TV, a large selection of books and DVDs and also provide a wireless internet connection.
